The role:

Thid team are currently in search of an Information Security Specialist to enhance our Group Information Security Team. This pivotal team is responsible for the overarching information security strategy, risk management, assurance, and capability development within the group. The role is a unique opportunity to delve into policy development and strategic information security at an enterprise level.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

Write, maintain, and assist in the communication of information security policies and procedures, ensuring they are in line with emerging security standards and frameworks.
Draft and aid in the publication of a comprehensive range of documents related to information security policy and procedure.
Provide technical writing support to IT managers for internal policies and procedures.
Engage with internal stakeholders to comprehend departmental needs and ensure alignment with information security governance.
Proactively seek and implement policy improvements to satisfy business requirements while upholding security.
Collaborate with the document management team to review, edit, and update guidelines, policies, and manuals as needed.
Facilitate the communication and implementation of information security policies, overcoming any barriers to their application or compliance.
