In early May, the NCSC is due to launch CyberFlix – a new product to support secondary schools, clubs and youth groups to teach young teenagers about cyber security. CyberFlix will be a free-to-access, interactive video learning resource, aimed at 11-14 year olds, which highlights some of the most common cyber scams and malicious activity that a teenage internet-user may come across.

CyberSprinters is the NCSC’s existing online game for 7-11 year olds to make learning about cyber security fun and interactive at a time when children might begin to seek more independence online. Our updated version will be released at the same time as CyberFlix with new and improved accompanying learning resources and teaching guides. We would like to ask for local authorities’ support in promoting these products in May through their community relationships and networks, including through schools.
