UKFin+ is a £2.5M programme of funding, tackling wicked problems in financial services. The project aims to grow a network across the UK to increase collaboration across regions, between academics and industry.

Financial services have been subject to unprecedented technological changes over recent years, and this increasing reliance on technology though beneficial also comes with associated risks, leading financial services to have a wicked problem.

UKFin+ will distribute funding to researchers and businesses to carry out projects tackling wicked problems in financial services. The results of these projects will then be shared across a nationwide network to benefit the wider fintech sector.

Cyber security is one of the key topics.
