Technical Information Security Officer

As a Technical Information Security Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the Newcastle Building Society Group’s information assets. You will ensure that systems, infrastructure, networks, and hosting services are designed and maintained to meet stringent security standards, comply with industry regulations, and align with internal governance and best practices in cybersecurity.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing the cyber security technical blueprint, strategic roadmaps, and enterprise-wide solutions to identify, prevent, detect and respond to cyber threats.

You will also provide strategic direction on security capabilities, the design of secure solutions, establish security principles and standards, and contribute significantly to the broader Information and Cyber Security strategy.
