Cyber Design Contract Specialist

Then our Cyber Security Implementation Specialist role is the one for you! Your role is crucial to the design & implementation of BT’s Cyber Security Portfolio products and services (Primarily Splunk Security products) for our BT Business customers.

From day-one you will have an active input into the design and implementation of new product lines and first-class security solutions, leading the end-to-end process from the very beginning.

You’ll be an expert of Splunk’s cutting-edge security technology, leading the creation of tailored security builds for business customers, ensuring compliance with agreed requirements and BT’s commercial and operational objectives.

The products and services you help deploy will be used by household names across the world, across many markets, each with their own legal and regulatory challenges.

You’ll be the lead contact for business customers, matrix BT teams, and suppliers/vendors to create innovative and effective solutions. You’ll be confident in your stakeholder management collaborating and communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders, to implementation teams, suppliers, product and sales team to name a few.

By adopting an hand-on and approach, you will lead our security services ensuring they are relevant, effective, and efficient in guiding our customers through service initiation, transition phases, and ongoing operations.

The role may involve working with Government and Military Contracts, so a level of security clearance will be required. Candidates are encouraged to ensure they meet the eligibility requirements for SC clearance (SC clearable.
What you’ll be doing
Responsible for leading the creation of Splunk security implementation builds for Business customers, that meets agreed requirements and compliance policies, whilst balancing the BT commercial & Operational goals
Leading (Mainly Splunk based) technical design and Customer application integrations from requirements phase to controlled delivery, with focus on quality, managed deployment to agreed Milestones.
Lead Negotiations and feedback loops, to ensure real world challenges in deploying BT designs into customers complex and unique environments, is carefully & Professionally managed
Be a key voice during bid phases to ensure the contractual security requirements are assessed and accurate information is feedback to ensure the Quote can be implemented, with risks clearly identified.
Lead a matrix team that manages controlled Change for new and in-service designs. This can include Threat Analytic Use-Cases, Playbooks, policy and data source optimisation to upgrades to protect against vulnerabilities.
Become the BT Security Technical leader and ‘Trusted Advisor’ for customer C-Level technical reviews, balancing customer demands against BT frameworks, to demonstrate value of BT.
Demonstrate strong organisational & commercial skills to agree a finite project scope, clearly communicated via experienced presentation skills.
Develop business strategies and Frameworks across the organisation and stakeholders, to improve quality and speed of delivery. Ensure implementation designs and plans are compliant with BT security standards and market compliance levels (i.e., ISO, GDPR, NCSC)
Lead the collaboration and technical leadership across multiple external suppliers & BT Operations, to identify new roadmap developments and improvements to enhance the BT service offering.
Support in-life Operation escalations on launched products and services where required.
