Cyber Runway: Securing Smart Cities

As part of their Cyber Runway programme (a national incubator programme for cyber start ups), Plexal will be holding an event here in the North East – and you’re invited to take part.

The session will look at securing Smart Cities and will include talks from Sunderland City Council about their smart city plans as well as other smart cities around the country. There will also be a networking lunch and an opportunity to meet the companies currently participating in the Plexal Cyber Runway programme.

13:30 – 14:30 – Smart Cities and Secure Connected Places Panel, Liz St Louis (Director of Smart Cities, Sunderland City Council) and Prof Chris Hankin (Imperial College London)

14:30 – 15:15 – Startup pitches

15:15 – 15:30 – Break

15:30 – 16:30 – Startup pitches

16:30 – 17:30 – Wrap-up and Networking
