CyberNorth is pleased to be partnering with Northumbria University and Cystel to deliver Empowering Girls Through Ethical Hacking; a hands-on programme designed to inspire young people to explore cyber security and ethical hacking, one of the UK’s fastest-growing and most in-demand career areas.
What is the programme?
A practical, engaging introduction to cyber skills, led by student mentors and experienced cyber professionals. No prior technical experience is required — just curiosity and enthusiasm.
Students will explore real-world cyber topics including:
- Phishing & social engineering
- Penetration testing & vulnerability detection
- Secure coding practices
- OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence)
- Incident response
- Wi-Fi & network security
