We’re taking an exciting step forward in strengthening the region’s cyber security ecosystem. We’ve partnered with The Grainger Hub to lead their new Space, Defence & Cyber Security Innovation Hub on the first floor of their industry‑led ecosystem.
This is an huge milestone in shaping an innovation zone with cyber at its core.
But what does that mean for the region?
Well, this is one of the first steps towards establishing an innovation zone with cyber security at the heart of a regional hub. It provides a physical space for innovation, collaboration and growth to take place and is another milestone on the journey of putting the North East on the map as a UK centre of excellence for cyber security.
Our partnership places us within a wider ecosystem that brings home‑grown talent in AI, cyber security, space and defence together in a space designed to encourage cross‑sector collaboration. With Grainger Hub’s sector‑focused rooms spanning engineering, manufacturing, tech, AI and the creative industries, the environment is set up to spark new ideas and accelerate North East innovation.
And with Barclays Eagle Labs and Northstar Ventures also close by, the stage is set to nurture innovation and create an environment within which businesses can thrive.
